Rockford, IL (June 14, 2017) – SupplyCore, a supply chain management services and technology solutions integrator, recently hired former Rockford University assistant professor Jeff Fahrenwald as its vice president for strategy development and execution.

Fahrenwald is familiar to SupplyCore, having worked as a consultant since 1992 and having served as vice president of operations from 1999 to 2002. He is also a partner in one of SupplyCore’s international affiliates.

In his new role, Fahrenwald will lead the senior executive team in developing and guiding implementation of strategic direction for all SupplyCore’s interests. He most recently worked at Rockford University as an assistant professor of economics, business and accounting, and as the director of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program.

“Jeff is very familiar with SupplyCore’s mission, vision and day-to-day operations, so we are excited to have him back leading strategy and execution,” said Peter Provenzano, President and CEO of SupplyCore. “He brings extensive experience in business planning and leadership across many platforms – nonprofits and for-profits, and manufacturing, distribution and service industries – that will help us serve our customers with confidence well into the future.”

Many organizations have recognized Fahrenwald for his contributions to the Rockford community. He was named the 2014 Citizen of the Year by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce and one of the 21 People You Should Know in Rockford for 2011. He was a recipient of the Spirit of Caring Award from Crusader Community Heath and a Community Service Award from the Rockford Park District.

Active with both Transform Rockford and Alignment Rockford, Fahrenwald is also an advisory board member for MBAA International, a multidisciplinary professional development conference with global participation.
